In the medical facility, Jag was just waking up from his unconsciousness.  He sat up in the medical bed and rubbed his paw along the back of his head.

"Oh man, what hit me?"  he asked himself.  He looked around at the facility, which was now an even bigger mess than before.  "Whoa!  What happened in here?"  Quickly, Jag got up and was about to start collecting some of the trash when he remembered the blood sample he took from Benny.  Thankfully, neither the sample nor the microscope had been damaged during  the fight.

Jag looked at the blood sample under the microscope.  Most of Benny's blood cells had be devoured by unidentifiable black cells.  "This does not look good," he said, then checked at the results from the diagnostics.  What he read made his eyes widen.  "Oh, crud!"

Meanwhile, everyone was gathered in Benny's room.  During the night that he spent as a were-beast, Benny had no memory of his actions.  Xiro and Kairel was explaining to him what they saw and what they believe happened.

"I can't believe it," Benny said.  "I know I've been a little moody lately, but--"
"Take a good look at your room right now," said Xiro.  "none of the broken furniture and shredded sheets look familiar to you?"
"We also saw the medical lab completely trashed," Kairel added.
"I remember I…" said Benny in a quiet tone, "…Jag wanted a sample of my blood and…I didn't mean to hit him."
"He was lying unconscious in the damaged facility," Panthy said.
"And pieces of Ludwig were all over your face," Dagnino added.
"No!"  Benny shouted.  "I would never!"
"Benny, please," Queen Eliza begged.  "You must remain calm."  She held his paw, which was shaking mildly in fear.  His head practically dropped into his other paw.
"What have I done?"  he started to cry.   "I'm a monster!   I need to be locked up so that I don't hurt anyone else."
"Don't think like that!" Rae said.  "We'll find a cure somehow."
"In the movies, a silver bullet usually does the trick," said Melman.
"Don't even joke like that, Melman!" said Gloria.
"Sorry."

Just then Jag, came running into the room.

"Everyone,  I have some very bad news."
"Jag?  You're awake?" Bruma asked.
"You okay?" asked Leo?
"I'm fine," Jag replied.  "But I can't say the same for Benny."
"We know," said Alex.  "He's a were-wolf."
"It's worse than that."
"What are you talking about?" asked Maggie.
"I just got the results from the blood sample I took from him.  They indicate that his metabolism has accelerated almost double since last night."
"Now that  you mention it, I do feel really hungry right now," said Benny.
"He's going to eat is all!" King Julian screamed.  "Run for my life!"
"I don't want to be a were-wolfs snack!" Mort cried.  Almost right away, the lemurs ran toward the door.  They were stopped by Simba and Nala.
"That's not helping, guys," Simba said.
"Jag, what exactly does this all mean?" asked Talon.
"It means that in his next transformation, Benny's internal systems will persuade him to kill and eat the closest living thing around him," Jag responded.  "It's either that, or else…"
"Or else what?" asked Leonette.
"Or else, he'll die."
"That's not gonna happen," said Palladon.  "We almost lost him once. "
"Can't you find a cure," Tye asked.
"Possibly, but not in enough time," Jag responded.  "It could take days."
"And there's less than 10 hours until the sun sets again," said Fu Dog.
"Then this is it," said Benny as he sadly got up from his bed.  "There's no other choice.  For the sake of everyone, I have to die."
"No!" Sunlight shouted.  "We won't let you."
"If I don't then someone will die for my hunger.  I can't let that happen.  I need to be caged until this is over."
"If that's how you feel, we can stick you in one of the cells back at the Labyrinth," said Fang.
"Do it," Benny replied.  Claw gently rubbed his back as he and Fang escorted him out of the room.  Queen Eliza and Sunlight went with them as well.
"Leo, what about your uncle Vol'jin on Azeroth?" Aurora Rose asked.  "Isn't he a shadow hunter?"
"Great Scott!   You're right!" Leo replied.  "If anyone can help Benny, it's my uncle Vol'jin.  He's an expert in dark magic."
"Then that's settled," said Palladon.  "Leo, you and I will go to Azeroth to get your uncle to help us."
"I'm coming too," Aurora Rose insisted.
"We will stay behind and watch over Benny until you get back," said Talon.
"Right," Leo said.  "Let's go."

Palladon, Leo and Aurora boarded the Arofighter as soon as they could.  The vessel ignited and lifted off as it flew once again out of the main hanger.  As soon as it was out of the Earth's atmosphere, the Arofighter made the jump into hyperspace as it vanished into the blackness of space.

At the Labyrinth, Benny was placed in the old glass cell that Fang was kept in during his imprisonment.

"Are you sure this is what you want?" Talon asked him.
"Yes," Benny responded from behind the glass.  "As long as everyone is safe, THIS is what I want."
"Don't loose hope, Benny," Maggie said.  "We'll help you get through this."
"And no matter what," Eliza added.  "We love you very much."
Benny managed a week smile.
"I love you all too," he said.

The Arofighter came out of light speed in front of Leo's home planet, Azeroth.  The vessel enter the planet's atmosphere and flew over Stormwind City.

"So where exactly does your uncle live," Palladon asked.
"On the Echo Isles on the shores of Durotar," Leo replied.
"Rather than landing, I'll put the ship in hover while you and Aurora Rose look for this Vol'jin character."
"Right.  We need to make this trip quick anyway."

The Arofighter came to a slow, hovering halt on the shores of Durotar.  Leo and Aurora Rose exited the ship and went straight to the new base on the Echo Isles.  Among the Darkspear Trolls, they saw Leo's uncle Vol'jin.

"Uncle Vol'jin!"  Leo called out.

Right away, Vol'jin noticed Leo and Aurora Rose.

"Leo?  What brings you here, man?" he asked.
"It's an emergency," Aurora Rose replied.
"My best friend, Benny, was bitten by a demon wolf," Leo added.
"Has he undergone the transformation?" Vul'jin asked.
"Yes.  He's okay now, but if we don't break the curse soon--"
"He will die."
"Which is why we need your help," Aurora Rose said.
"I know of a ritual that can break the spell, but we have to do it before his next transformation," Vul'jin responded.
"Then we need you to come back to Earth with us," said Leo.
"Yes, nephew.  Let us be going now."

The three of them raced back to the Arofighter.  As soon as everyone was on board, Palladon flew the ship back off planet an into space.  He pulled a level, and the stars skewed forward as the Arofighter made the jump to light speed.

"We'll be arriving back on Earth shortly," said Palladon.
"Uncle, this is Palladon," Leo said as he introduced them to each other.
"Very nice to meet you," Vul'gin said as he and Palladon shook hands.
"Likewise, Vul'jin" Palladon replied.
"Tell us, what will we need to break Benny's curse?" Aurora Rose asked.
"For starters, I'll need the hair of the wolf that bit him," Vul'gin responded.  "We'll also need two tiger and two lions to help perform the ritual."
"Well, we've got plenty of lions and tigers back at our studio," said Leo, "but wolf that bit him is now in the holding chamber at Ghostbusters HQ, and none of us came in contact with the wolf before then."
"Wait!  What was Benny wearing when the wolf bit him?"  Palladon asked.
"He's Ghostbusters gear," Leo answered.

Palladon presses a switch and sends a transmission to the studio.  The call in answered by 3PO, who's head appears on the transmission screen of the Arofighter.

"Hello?  Oh!  Master Palladon!" the golden droid responded.
"3PO, I need a favor.  Check Benny's Ghostbuster uniform for a strand of wolf hair."
"Yes, sir."
A chilling new horror thriller starring Benny, Leo, Johnny, Rae and the rest of the LKHFF crew.
