Well, folks! The start of 2016 is less than 12 hours away (from when I post this journal). But rather than just saying goodbye to 2015, I'd like to take this moment to recap how awesome this year was!!!
First and foremost is the birth of my first nephew, born Emmett Paul Ross to my brother Nicholas and my sister-in-law Karina on the night of August 5, 2015. It was a joy to be with both my parents and my in laws as we welcomed this new addition into the family and to the world. As an added update, Emmett is growing fast for a toddler. He's only 4 months old, but he wears clothes for 9 months. He's already in the teething stage and he's anxious to start walking AND talking.
Second is the passing of my grandmother, Victoria Rosemarie Casario. She died peacefully in her sleep on May 11, 2015, and will always be in our hearts and our memories. She loved cooking, doing crossword puzzles and traveling around the country. She is now reunited with my grandfather Dominic "Mickey" Casario, who passed away in December 2002, and together they watch over their beloved family
Next up is first fully animated videos that I made with the help of my friends who generously donated their voice talents. So far, only two have been made this year : "GEP : The Call" and "GEP : Miscommunication." However, I do plan to make more and I hope many more of my friends will show interest in helping with the projects. Which reminds me, I also hope to do more voice dub collabs with my friends in the coming year
In addition to being active on YouTube and Art Sites, I've also been more active in the real world. From accompanying my mom to DownTown Eustis for the Presidents Day Parade to Trick-or-Treating in the Neighborhood (which I haven't done in 20 years and was very glad that I did ), not only have I regained the joy of being outside more often but also I dropped two whole pants sizes for it too!!!
Another great thing about 2015 was getting to see some of my favorite movies back on the big screen!!! In June, I treated my dad and my brother to the 40th Anniversary of "Jaws," and on October 21, I watched all three "Back to the Future" films!!! And naturally, of course, I've already seen the highly anticipated "Star Wars : The Force Awakens"...twice...and I plan to see it many more times later on.
The last great thing about 2015 was joining the brony community. Before then, I didn't have much interesting in My Little Pony mainly due to the overly-female pondering of G2 -- and the less said about G3, the better. But sitting down and watching "Friendship is Magic" really brought out the sense of enjoyment I used to have with the series back in G1. And sense then, I've been enjoying G4 more and more, and I look forward to Season 6 when it premieres.
Well, that's about it. 2015 was more than just a great year. It's a year worth remembering. Here's to the best 365 days lived in the 21st century so far, and here's hoping 2016 will be just as grand!!!

Sad News :(
Early this morning, my mom got a call from my cousin Christina and her husband Jimmy that her mother, my aunt Cecilia, passed away from a heart attack. Aunt Cecilia had been fighting an uphill battle to stay alive for years now. For the most part, it seems like she was winning. Now she is at peace with my grandparents.
New Beast City Video!!!
We have a new house!!!
Finally! After nearly 3 months of house hunting, ups and downs and round ‘n rounds, we finally have a place to call home!!!
Update on the Moving Situation
Currently staying at my brother's house. We were supposed to be here until Friday (April 22), but due to a lack of communication from the seller's broker and a disagreement between said seller and broker, we are gonna be here until Wednesday (April 27). Thankfully, my brother and sister-in-law were nice enough to set up a desk on which I may use my PC. It is all currently in the guest bedroom that my mom and dad are sleeping in. As such, I won't be available at night when they are sleeping. My drawing tablet and stylist are still packed away, so it will be a while before I draw and upload anything new, but I will still be able to fave and comment Take care everyone and be safe. Viruses aren't the only threat spreading around in the outside world ^^; -- Benny
